Evergreen AI took its seat at the High-Level Digital Transformation Forum 2026, where the Lao PDR and the governments of the region met to accelerate digital government, cultivate a digital workforce and drive innovation into the AI era.

A forum for the AI era

On the first day of Lao Digital Week, the Ministry of Technology and Communications convened the High-Level Digital Transformation Forum 2026 in Vientiane. Under the theme “Accelerating Digital Government, Cultivating a Digital Workforce, and Driving Innovation into the AI Era”, the Lao PDR and countries of the region shared their experience of transforming government with digital technology.

Evergreen AI at the table

At the invitation of the Ministry, our Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Peter A. Moelgaard, took part for Evergreen AI. Sovereign AI built in Lao PDR — compute on Lao hydropower, with data, models and keys held in the country — is the foundation this agenda needs: digital government, a digital workforce and AI innovation, at home.
